“Our premium complete flange bushing kits eliminate all areas of unwanted movement in parallel linkage arms. He credits the idea for the flange bushing kit to Ron Jackson and his son Cody, who farm near New Boston, Mo.
According to Burgei, worn parallel linkage arms and bushings are a common problem with today’s planters. Since the implementation of down-pressure enhancing products, this problem has only gotten worse. “In the past, worn parallel linkage arms and bushings have always had to be replaced with new and expensive ones,” says Burgei. “With our kits, there is no longer any wear on the parallel arms. All of the wear is on the kit’s replaceable parts.”

Terrace King – Flex for the Planter
If you plant terraced ground with a 16 or 24 row planter, then you are painfully familiar with the tendency for outer row-units to leave the ground.
Swihart Solutions now offers a method of returning row-units to the dirt where they belong. The inner wheel-arm of both wings are replaced with Terrace Kings using the original cylinder and hardware. Set-N-Seed
A planter tool to help improve depth control. Set-N-Seed is a planter seed depth calibration tool that makes it easy to accurately set your desired planting depth from 1 in. to 2 1/2 in. It comes with a main 1-in. block and multiple 1/2-in. stackable inserts.

Furrow Brow
A simple, inexpensive, and durable solution to build-up on planter depth gauge wheels. Furrow Brow is not a scraper, as it never actually touches the gauge wheel. Nor does it need adjustment. Properly installed, it is placed directly between the pivot arm bolt and the wheel and centered within the range of motion of the wheel, such that its distance from the wheel is consistent no matter where the wheel is within that range of motion. It will not remove every speck of dirt from the wheel on every rotation, but it will “knock off” any lumps large enough to seriously affect planting depth. In ideal soil conditions –it does nothing.
