Applegate Livestock Equipment Sold to Tarter Farm & Ranch Equipment

Applegate Livestock Equipment Inc. is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement in principle to sell its livestock business to Tarter Farm & Ranch Equipment. Based in Dunnville, Kentucky, Tarter is a member company and a fourth generation family-owned and operated business that has manufactured livestock equipment for over 70 years.

Applegate, a subsidiary of Ag Growth International, continues to manufacture and distribute their products throughout the mid-west regions of the United States and Applegate’s management team remains in place to continue normal operations.

Applegate will continue normal business operations subsequent to the proposed acquisition and is prepared to start taking new equipment orders as early as July 15th.
