Bobcat Donates Over $175K to 100+ Nonprofits in Annual Fall Giving Campaign
In a heartwarming display of community commitment, Bobcat Company and its dedicated employees rallied together for their annual fall giving campaign, surpassing expectations by raising an impressive $175,000 in donations. This philanthropic initiative spanned 17 states, benefitting over 100 nonprofit organizations.
To amplify the impact of their employees' generosity, Bobcat went the extra mile by matching dollar for dollar on employee donations, up to $3,000 per person. This not only encouraged active participation but also empowered employees to contribute meaningfully to causes close to their hearts. Eligible organizations with a 501(c)(3) status were open for selection, allowing employees to support a diverse range of causes.
Tina Amerman, Bobcat Director People Programs, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled we could further our employees’ donations and help them give back in a way that was personally meaningful to them through our fall giving campaign."
Bobcat's enduring partnership with United Way, spanning over two decades, remained a key highlight. In addition to United Way, more than 100 other nonprofit recipients were selected by employees, showcasing the diversity of causes close to the hearts of the Bobcat community.
The fall giving campaign marked the culmination of a season dedicated to volunteering and community outreach. Earlier in the year, Bobcat announced that over 1,000 employees globally participated in more than 100 volunteer projects, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the communities where they live and work.
In 2023, Bobcat made significant contributions, including a $5 million donation to support a new engineering facility at North Dakota State University. Collaborating with the National Recreation and Park Association, Bobcat also granted $250,000 to aid in the creation of sustainable community park and recreation areas throughout the U.S.
Notably, Bobcat's commitment extends beyond financial contributions. The organization actively supports educational STEM programs through its annual grant program and serves as the lead sponsor for the Bobcat North Dakota Open. Since 1984, Bobcat has donated over $1.2 million to support The Village Family Service Center’s community outreach services.
Bobcat's dedication to investing time and resources in its communities is evident in its long history of volunteer efforts, charitable contributions, and commitment to creating a stronger tomorrow.
