Case IH Introduces Axial-Flow Series Combine
Case IH has merged top-tier technology with the renowned heritage of Axial-Flow combines to offer the harvesting solutions for a broad spectrum of growers and custom harvesters through the innovative Axial-Flow 260 series. Purposefully engineered for unparalleled productivity, this series grants growers access to subscription-free, integrated technology customized to meet their individual operational needs.
Setting a new benchmark for operator experience, the premium technology within the Axial Flow 260 series combine optimizes throughput and grain handling efficiency with Case IH's single-rotor harvesting technology.
“The Axial-Flow 260 series combine represents a significant leap forward in integrated technology throughout the harvesting process for growers,” says Leo Bose, harvesting segment lead at Case IH. “We purposefully bundled precision technologies so there are no subscriptions or activations required to run the machine. The subscription-free connectivity gives customers the ability to remotely view machine and agronomic data via the new Case IH FieldOps platform, which will launch later in 2024. The technology stays for the lifetime of the hardware, boosting resale value.”
Featuring harvest command combine automation, the Axial Flow 260 series automates settings to optimize throughput and grain quality. Operators benefit from the high-resolution Pro 1200 dualdDisplays, providing real-time access to machine metrics, field performance and grain quality. Furthermore, new tech additions like RowGuide Pro and AccuGuide autoguidance systems ensure improved on-row accuracy, minimized header losses and reduced operator fatigue, without the need for subscriptions.
“The Pro 1200 dualdDisplays give me complete visibility with all my combine data on one monitor and coverage maps on the other, so I’m no longer flipping back and forth between screens,” says Paul Paplow, farmer, custom harvester and vice president at U.S. Custom Harvesters, Inc. “Within just five minutes of using the Axial-Flow 260 series, with its real-time grain quality imaging feature, I could see the difference in superior grain quality.”
Enhancing operator comfort, the Axial Flow 260 series introduces the ActiveTrac four-roller hydraulic suspended track system, reducing compaction and increasing flotation by 14% compared to fixed track options. Luxury seating, complete with massage, heating, and advanced air conditioning technology, ensures operators can optimize their comfort during extended harvest periods.
