Case IH introduced its new series of Farmall C medium utility tractors during this winter’s farm show circuit, highlighting upgrades in performance, comfort and power.

The new lineup includes models with a 12-speed PowerShuttle and a 24-speed high-low transmission. Designed for farms of various sizes and crop types, the tractors feature factory-installed technology to improve on-farm efficiency.

The equipment was displayed at World Ag Expo in Tulare, California, and the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, in February.

“This tractor actually travels throughout all of North America for us,” said Matt Kurt, commercial trainer for Case IH, in an interview with Farm Progress at World Ag Expo. “It can often be the smallest tractor on the farm, or for a different customer it can be the largest tractor. It can fit a lot of different practices in terms of utility with livestock. We also sell this tractor into the specialty market and orchard production.”

World Ag Expo attendees saw tractors equipped with the 12-speed transmission, available on the Farmall 100C, 110C and 120C models. The 24-speed high-low transmission option, available for the Farmall 90C, 100C, 110C and 120C models, was featured at the National Farm Machinery Show.

“We want to show all the new equipment and talk about all the technology available,” said Troy Crawford, salesman for Case IH. Crawford noted that the horsepower in Case IH tractors has increased more than fivefold over the past 48 years.

The new Farmall C tractors include additional horsepower, productivity enhancements and an automated power take-off (PTO) function that automatically engages and disengages implements.

“Now you can put more people in the seat” and push a harvest command button to adjust speeds, Crawford said. Onboard sensors “read” the crop and “allow the machine to do what it needs to do.”

Kurt also emphasized the tractor’s increased weight and capacity. “One thing that customers can be really excited about is the added heft and capacity of this tractor,” he said. The additional vehicle weight allows it to handle heavier loads, while an improved rear lift capacity supports larger implements.

“The motor can handle heavier loads, if you’ve got farmers dealing with heavier bales or higher-moisture, high-density bales,” Kurt said.

According to Crawford, the tractors were used for demonstrations in 2024 before entering limited commercial production this year.

Headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, Case IH is a brand of CNH Industrial that distributes tractors, combines, harvesters, hay equipment and other agricultural machines through dealers in more than 160 countries.
