Flange Bushing Rebuild Kit Eliminates Linkage Arm Movement
Worn parallel linkage arms and bushings are a common problem with today’s planters. Since the implementation of down-pressure enhancing products, this problem has only gotten worse. This new rebuild kit addresses this problem.
“The PPS Premium Complete Parallel Arm Kits, which come with upper and lower parallel arms that already have the hardened flange bushings installed, eliminate all areas of unwanted movement in the arms, resulting in less planter maintenance and long-term savings,” says Dave Burgei of S.I. Distributing.
He credits the idea for the flange bushing kit to Ron Jackson and his son Cody, who farm near New Boston, Missouri.
With the flange bushing kit, all the wear occurs on the kit’s replaceable parts, not on expensive linkage arms. PPS rebuild kits are available for Case-IH, John Deere, Kinze, New Holland, Precision Planting, and White/Massey Ferguson planters.
PPS Complete Parallel Arm Kits come with upper and lower parallel arms that already have the hardened flange bushings installed. The kits feature robust welded steel arms, designed to handle excessive down pressures and adverse planting conditions.
Burgei continued, “If you are looking for an excellent option for reduced costs to make current parallel linkage arms better than new, then consider the PPS Rebuild Your Existing Arms Kits. The installer reams out the existing worn hole in their existing arm a little larger for a more precise fit for the bushings.”
