Hempsker 1.0

The Hempsker 1.0 is designed to increase productivity and efficiency in the shucking process. The stems of wet or dried plants are easily inserted into the machine's multiple station entry points. Each entry point is equipped with pre-sized holes that allow only the stem to be inserted.

The stems are pulled through the machine by 6" industrial lagged pulleys that are controlled by a variable frequency drive which alloys the operators to adjust the machine's speed as needed. The leaves and flowers are gently stripped from the stem and redirected onto the 17" wide conveyor belt below, which carries them to a single collection location. The machine is capable of shucking 130-140 pounds of bio mass per hour.
