JOHN DEERE To Build New Test Lab

MOLINE, Ill. — Deere & Co. will build a 33,000-square-foot facility at the Iowa State UniversityResearch Park as a design and test lab for agricultural spraying and applications technology.

The facility is expected to be completed by summer 2019.It will expand Deere's presence at Iowa State. In 2017, the company opened a strategic technology innovation center in the research park.

Deere has recently expanded its role in crop care technologies and acquired several companies that offer spraying technologies.
