John Deere Marks 75 Years in Dozer Industry With New Innovations and Anniversary Badge
Marking 75 years of leadership in the dozer market, John Deere is celebrating its history of innovation, driven by customer feedback since 1949, when it began producing dozers in Dubuque, Iowa.
Over the years, Deere has introduced numerous breakthroughs, from the first all-hydraulic bulldozer in 1958 to the recent 2024 next generation SmartGrade options for its P-Tier models.
"This important 75-milestone of dozer manufacturing recognizes the tremendous teamwork of everyone involved including our factory teams, engineers and our dealers that support our customers every day," Matt Costello, product marketing manager, dozers, John Deere said.
"We're incredibly proud that this lineup has continued to provide the durability and performance that our customers rely on to work smarter and more efficiently getting the job done right the first time."
In honor of its anniversary, Deere will add a commemorative badge to all dozers built through 2025, marking decades of durable, high-performing machinery that continues to advance with industry needs.
