KIOTI Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA Inc., has launched the KIOTI Connect app, a new connected vehicle technology designed to enhance equipment management for tractor owners.

The app provides real-time insights into equipment performance, helping users make data-driven decisions to optimize operations and improve efficiency.

KIOTI Connect leverages artificial intelligence (AI)-powered predictive analytics to anticipate and prevent maintenance issues, reducing downtime and boosting overall productivity. The app is easy to use, providing access to vital data and support, ensuring equipment owners remain informed while on the job.

“We’re excited to introduce this AI-powered predictive analytics tool to help machine owners anticipate and prevent maintenance issues before they occur, increasing uptime and overall efficiency,” Youngjin Son, senior vice president and chief product technology officer of Daedong-USA, Inc., KIOTI Tractor Division said.

“Designed with customer needs in mind, KIOTI Connect takes control of managing equipment location and operational status, simplifying machine ownership, so operators can focus on the job at hand.”

Key features of the app include real-time machine health monitoring and proactive maintenance alerts, such as oil changes and air filter replacements, to extend the life of the equipment.

KIOTI Connect also plans to introduce smart remote diagnostics, allowing users to troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely, further reducing downtime.

The app also includes a GPT-based AI language model tailored to the agricultural sector, offering a convenient way to access information about farming practices and tractor maintenance.

Operators can track machine location, set up custom geofences and remotely enable restart inhibitors. These features provide peace of mind, allowing users to monitor equipment status, receive alerts and ensure security while improving machine efficiency.

In the future, KIOTI Connect will also help operators discover compatible attachments and access essential resources like maintenance schedules, manuals and troubleshooting guides, all aimed at optimizing machine performance.

Currently, the KIOTI Connect app is available free for the first three years for RX Series, HX Series, and compact construction models. After the initial period, users can choose to continue with a subscription or discontinue the service.

KIOTI plans to expand compatibility to additional equipment models in 2025, broadening the app’s reach and enhancing operational efficiency across a wider range of machinery.
