Kubota Tractor Corporation introduced its newest addition to the compact track loader market, the SVL50x, at the Equip Exposition.

This marks Kubota's debut in the smallest cabbed compact track loader category. Measuring just 48 inches wide, the SVL50x is the smallest in the company’s lineup and will be available at dealerships starting in early 2025.

“With the trend of putting more houses on less land, and the space between lots getting tighter and tighter, Kubota is filling a need in the market for a narrow, cabbed track loader among construction and landscaping professionals,” Jerry Corder, Kubota product manager, construction equipment, said.

“The new SVL50x gives operators a smaller, feature-packed machine, some of which have never been seen on a Kubota compact track loader.”

Despite its compact size, the SVL50x packs a powerful punch with a 49.6-horsepower diesel engine and a rated operating capacity of 1,176 pounds. Key features include a sealed cab, a 7-inch touch panel and innovative technologies such as an anti-stall system, auto-idling and Kubota Shockless Ride for enhanced operator comfort.

Kubota’s new SVL50x will be available in four models, ranging from an open station to a deluxe cab version.

The new model is set to arrive at select dealers in the first quarter of 2025.
