Syngenta Crop Protection has announced a multi-year partnership with Taranis, the premier AI-powered crop intelligence platform. This collaboration aims to enhance agronomic productivity and conservation efforts for agricultural retailers in the United States, beginning in the 2024-25 season.

With a substantial investment planned over the next three years, the partnership will equip ag retailers with Taranis' AI-driven platforms, providing remote scouting insights and generative AI agronomic recommendations. The initiative seeks to streamline retailer workflows, optimize farm decision-making, and facilitate the adoption of conservation practices to boost profitability.

“We believe this collaboration with Taranis will help retailers tap into the full potential of AI and digital agronomy, unlocking new levels of operational efficiencies," said Head of NA CP Digital Agriculture & Sustainable Solutions Paul Backman. "By combining Syngenta’s industry-leading portfolio with Taranis’ AI-driven insights, we empower retailers to deliver better, faster and more precise service to their grower-customers.”

The partnership will also focus on conservation services, allowing retailers to connect growers with funding opportunities for sustainable practices. This effort underscores Syngenta’s commitment to sustainability, making it easier for farmers to adopt eco-friendly solutions.
